Photography Exhibition: Hanoi – Spirit of Place

If you’re in Hanoi before the 26th October, don’t miss the Hanoi – Spirit of Place exhibition; an amazing set of photographs from early 80s Vietnam – the period in which The Trader of Saigon is set. Taken by former British diplomat, Sir John Ramsden, they’re an incredibly rare and evocate insight into a poverty-stricken and chaotic, but beautiful and hopeful time.
